Ingredients
8-10 apples
1/2 cup of water
1 tsp ground cinnamon
7 tablespoons of margarine or butter
3/4 cup of flour
1 cup of sugar
juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions
- Place thinly sliced apples in greased 9×13 baking dish
- Pour water over and squeeze lemon over apples
- Sprinkle with cinnamon
- In a separate bowl, blend butter, flour, and sugar with a fork until the mixture is crumbly
- Sprinkle mixture on top of apples
- Place in heated at 350F degrees for 30-40 minutes
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Pairs nicely with vanilla ice cream topping
